His very essence is Charity. Charity, is the pure love of Christ. During his ministry on this earth He set down the ultimate example of finding the time for those that needed Him and those that loved Him and followed Him. I want to be more like that and be there for the people that need me and love me. To find that balance in my life where I can see clearly what is truly important and where my Effort and Time needs to be spent. It will be a life long endeavor for sure. I am far from being where I want to be and where I know I could be, but if I give more attention to it and try a little harder each day, I know I will get there someday. In the meantime I know He is still there for me when I pray for His guidance and to give me strength in my efforts.
As part of our Christmas Activities we ventured out on a cold, COLD, Christmas Eve, Eve and went to Temple Square. In spite of the crowds we were able to see the beautiful grounds covered in lights. We were able to see the beautiful buildings that were so diligently made by our pioneer ancestors. And we were able to feel the Spirit of the Holy Ghost manifest to us that we were walking on Holy ground. I love the temple. It makes me so happy to be able to go there and receive the blessings it provides. I take it for granted and I know I shouldn't, but I do. This Christmas Season I tried not to take it for granted. I tried to see it's true worth in my life and the life of my family.
Here are a few pictures of our cold night out...but despite the cold and the crowds, it was worth it!

I think you're wonderful. I love how much faith you have. I'm not religious, by choice, but admire people who just shine with love in whatever faith or creed works for them. You're one of those people. It's so nice reading about your life :)
