On Thursday, November 3rd, Max received his Arrow of Light Award in Scouting. He is now an 11-year-old Scout and then goes into Boy Scouts! I can't believe how quickly the time goes. These kids are growing up WAY too fast!
We had a face painting ceremony before he received his award.
Right after he got his Arrow of Light we shared a hug.
Cool Face Paint
In this troop they have a bridge that the boys cross over once they receive their award. It is symbolic of a Cub Scout crossing over into Boy Scouts. Here is Max with the Cub Scout Leader Sam Tingey after he crossed over the bridge.
Then Max burns his name and the year into the bridge.
All Done!
Proud Parents. Max has worked hard in scouting and really enjoys it. He will be a wonderful Boy Scout. Congratulations Max!
