Halloween! We went back to the hotel and got changed into our costumes. They had a cat walk for the kids to go down and an MC would announce their name, age and who they were. A guy on the piano would play music according to their costume. It was so cute!
Chester was Buzz Lightyear
Max was Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender Series
Ivy was Rapunzel
Each of the kids were given a trick or treat bag and then they had stations throughout the hotel where the kids could go collect their candy and show off their costumes. Chester is saying, "To infinity and beyond!!!"
Grandma Pat made this costume. It is so perfect!! I wish he could wear it next year too! He looks just like the cartoon!
Little Ivy modeling her Rapunzel costume. She LOVES this wig and will wear it around the house. She wants to grow her hair this long...not sure if that will happen.
Here is Trisha in her costume. Trisha was Merida from the upcoming Pixar movie, Brave. And that is her real hair folks, no perm, no dyes....pretty much my dream hair!

And Roger and I, the hippie and Star Trek dude.Halloween was so fun in the hotel. After the party Ivy and I crashed! I was so tired!! Roger took Max and David to the arcade in the hotel and by the time he got back we were asleep and Chester was just hanging out ready to go to sleep. The lights went out quick and we dreamed of our next day at California Adventure!!
So really you and Roger had complimenting costumes. You both went as characters from the Star Trek episode "The Way To Eden" which was about space hippies.
