We had the wonderful opportunity to go to Disneyland the past few days with my sister-in-law, Janet, and her family. The kids and I drove down to St. George on Friday, spent some time with family there and Saturday took family pictures and I performed my vocal recital for friends and family. Saturday night we drove to Janet's house in Mesquite, spent the night and traveled Sunday to Disneyland. We pulled up to the hotel and got settled, then we thought it would be fun to hit the pool and relax before our two park days.
The kids had a blast in the water.
Chester LOVED the water slide and went down it several times.
Ivy enjoyed a shallow hot pool.
Max and his cousin David swam around and also enjoyed that water slide.
By the end everyone ended up in the hot pool making a whirlpool around Roger. We went to dinner in Down Town Disney. Janet and Dan took the kids while Roger and I enjoyed a "date night" at the House of Blues. We got to eat good food and someone gave us free tickets to see Jonny Lang. I actually liked his opening band better than him, but he was talented, just didn't resonate with me. We slept well that night dreaming of the fun that would ensue the next day at DISNEYLAND!
