We started our morning at the Story Tellers Cafe in the hotel. Chip and Dale are the hosts and this picture is priceless with Dale and Ivy. They have the same teeth!!

This is a fun photo op where the kids can pretend they are inside a toy box. Max and David showing off "action figure" style.

Chester screaming like Buzz did in the movie when he wanted to get OUT of the box.

Trisha and Ivy also want to get out. None of these toys like being in the box I guess.

A picture with the man himself!

We went to the princess luncheon and met our hostess Ariel. Trisha was on cloud nine. Ariel is her favorite! Ivy had purchased an autograph book the night before so we used it quite a bit during this day getting character autographs. That was a lot of fun.

Cinderella was amazing! This woman who portrayed her at the luncheon was one of the best I have ever seen at Disneyland. I am a Belle fan, but the way Cinderella interacted with the kids and her whole persona was so at ease with what she was doing, I was a Cinderella fan big time. Yay! Cinderella!

Sleeping Beauty, Princess Aurora

Belle! I had to get into the picture!!

Lovely Snow White

Ivy got her face painted on the Boardwalk.
California Adventure was fun! Ivy got to go on all the rides except she was too short for California Screamin'. She went on Tower of Terror though. I could not. I don't like that ride and was happy to sit it out with Chester since he didn't want to go on it either. Been there, done that, good enough! Roger, Trisha, Max and David went on the Grizzly Water Raft ride like 8 times and got soaked! Luckily our hotel was right there so they could change before dinner. We ended our night with the World of Color water show. It was spectacular. Afterward we went back to the hotel and Ivy had a break down because it was all over. We walked around Down Town Disney to help cheer her up a bit and then went back to the hotel to get rested up before our long journey home.
It was so wonderful to spend time with family and create memories together. I can't wait for our next adventure to Disneyland. We have averaged out at going every 2 to 3 years and that is about right. It keeps things special and fresh. We would love to go to Disney World next time. We have never been there. I think it would be fun to spend a whole week there, any takers!?
Fyi - you will need at least a week at Disney World depending on when you are able to go. I trust that you will be talking with me *long* before you start planning that trip.
